If you can safely get all 4 lift points on the SEC up as high as is possible with quality jack stands and go ahead and add the lift just pressing the rear differential for added safety you should be able to do the job and save some earnest coin. With 200k miles, those flex discs are surely worn. Easy to inspect them by looking for cracks at the bolt points and by grabbing a hold of the drive shaft and rocking it side to side. If you hear a pronounced clunk and you can see the cracked discs, there due for r&r.
The tranny needs to have the torque converter drained as well when you pull the pan and filter. Jonathan can advise you on how to rotate the crankshaft CW to make the drain bolt accessible. I use this weird jointed socket wrench to get to the crankshaft bolt on the face of the engine up and between the fan shroud.
If this is not comfortable for you , then see an independent MB shop that you trust vs. the MB stealership.
