Let me guess, he pushed that BG gas tank additive on you? BG gives shops kick backs for sending back a certain number of coupons which are inside the cans, so some shops push BG stuff on people even when there is no need. Not that there is anything really wrong with BG44k, but I'm just saying.

Need some help for my 1990 560 SEC - USA

 

I just had the following replaced and then my car started idling at 1300 RPMs. Before doing the work it idled at ~750 RPMs:

 

Spark plugs and all wires including coil wire

Distributor cap

Distributor rotor

Air cleaner

Fuel filter

Had BG service clean the air flow body & intake and added BG additive to the gas.

 

There are no vacuum leaks and no dash warning lights on.

 

How do I adjust my idle back to factory spec?
