[W126 Coupe] sunroof

Hello Friends,

Can anyone help, I have a problem closing my sunroof, I just picked the car up from being repainted and had the sunroof seal replaced with a new one. It appears that the seal is not as compressed as  the old seal, it being 20 years old. I am assuming that I can some how manully close the roof and hopefully compress that new seal? Any ideas.
