[W126 Coupe] Another Carfax Request

A question about the VIN I asked about...
 
A forum member emailed me in private questioning the VIN.  He noted that
Carfax requires a 17-character VIN and obviously the VIN below is not 17 in
length.  Could I have gotten the VIN wrong?
