[W126 Coupe] Chrome instrament surrounds

Mark,

I had exactly the same experience when I put the chrome rings in my 
instrument cluster. It is an easy fix, snip a little off the long hand on 
the clock, but the capacitor on the clock is probably burned out and needs 
to be changed.
