[W126 Coupe] Front Hub-Centric Wheel Spacers........

Jon,
I once tried 5mm spacers for the front when I installed a set of BBS wheels on my SEC.
Could not get them to seat properly as I think the front hub is slightly tapered and not the same diameter as the rear hub. I also tried the H&R 10mm and 15mm I use on the rear; they wouldn't work either even though the hub diameter is supposed to be the same.
I ended up mounting the wheel without any spacers and it worked out fine with no clearance issues at the brake caliper and steering linkage.
I would avoid spacers in the front if at all possible.
Just my experience,
Sam

Hi,

Apologies as I know from the past a lot has been mentioned about wheels
spacers....

But....

Does anybody have any information on hub-centric spacers specifically for
the front as i know anything over approx 5mm is a problem.

Regards
