to add to the discussion...for a while, i ran my front wheels high and parts started to loosen and break. i.e. my right turn signal arm broke, my headlight filaments broke. so run them at 34.

Otherwise, 32-36 is fine. Lower pressure is a little smoother, higher a little better response. Id leave them at 34. Dont forget to check the pressure in the spare tire nobody remembers to check them until its too late.
Tell her Hey for me!!

Subject: [W126 Coupe] Tire Pressure
My wife is driving her 1986 560 SEC from Oregon to California tomorrow (Monday) and I want to set the tire pressure. I know there has been lots of talk about correct pressure, but the Les Schwab people who mounted the tires suggested 40-45 Lb. psi. When I got the car back from the Medford Mercedes dealership last week, all 4 tires had been set to 34 LB. psi.
The car has 225 / 45 ZR 17 94W on the front and 235 / 45 R17 93V on the back. What should I set the pressure at?
