I'd keep them both:)

And there isn't really enough info to make a decision..  People's version of
'maintained' I have come to find differs Greatly...

@ least with your car you know where you stand with it, what's been done
etc, etc.

I'd say bring your neighbors in to your mechanic and see what he thinks.
