Derrick;

FIRST, if you have no record of having changed the timing chain, DO THAT RIGHT AWAY. You can check the timing marks on the left cam against the TDC to check for stretch. Change the upper guide rails, plus the tensioner. Check the condition of the cam sprockets (at 183K miles? not Km?). Worn ones look like someone sharpened them to chew through oak logs.

You really REALLY don't want to lose the timing chain!

The Euro 500SEC is a beauty.
