[W126 Coupe] gold plated emblems on a "90 560 SEC

Doug- I wouldn't waste my time with gold plating.  I have yet to see a decent looking gold emblem that hasn't dulled out after a year or so.  They are really popular in Los Ageles area and they look like crap after a while.  If it was meant to be gold MBZ would have put it on their cars.
