MessageAre you sure it is head gasket leak???
Usually the dripping onto the manifold is a tappet cover gasket problem.
They tend to get hard and brittle with age.
Maybe worth a look.
I don't like additives. Fix the problem rather.

Subject: [W126 Coupe] Engine Leak Stop
Any suggestions on a good engine stop leak additive?
Engine is very strong and I would rather not rebuild at this time. No need she runs great.
Heads gasket leaks are causing some smoking when sitting at lights etc. due to dripping to the pipes.
Would like to try to slow it down a little if anyone has some ideas.
Thank you,
Doc
