[W126 Coupe] Fuel pmp making noise , no fuel pump problems but speaking of 85 SECs

Please forgive me if the answers are obvious to the experts out there 
but I a recent member of the SEC club. I've had my '90 for about 6 weeks 
and love it! Speaking of  '85 SEC. Need some tech advice on major body 
parts; hood , doors, trunk, fenders, bumpers, glass etc  being able to 
fit on a '90 SEC. Are all dimensions and fittings the same? I know the 
'85 is a Euro so I'm not sure of cross over parts. I am looking at a 
donor car sans engine as a back up parts car in the event of an accident 
in my '90 daily driver. Thanks in advance for your replys.
