[W126 Coupe] Japanese cars

In hot-rodding/tuning/pimping (whatever) the only important question is how,
not why.

Try applying the "why" question to any car mod. you've ever done. Sometimes
the answer is just "because it's cool" or "makes it faster" or something
like that.

My feeling is that generally young car-crazies will modify whatever cars
that are cheap and plentiful with cheap and plentiful parts. Right now
that's old Hondas and Toyotas -- also compact pickups. Back in the 50s folks
used to see "the kids" messing with what they considered "old junkers" and
ask the same question -- why. Answer, because they were cheap and plentiful.

Just my 2 cents.
