Hello to All,
I have noticed that Mercedes Benz don't always come first for
reliability. For me what is important is that I look forward to driving
my Mercedes every day.My family run four Mercedes Benz's daily and all
are fine driving experiences. It always amazes me how none feel like the
have aged a day and all feel so modern and up to date.My 560 sec is an
1988 model and my daily car a 2006 350 ml.They both feel as modern even
though 18 years separate them. The quality "feel" of the 560 is in a
class of its own though.Lance

I am not a mechanic either yet I m an automotive-aesthetics enthusiast
and I strongly believe that Japanese cars should be taxed heavily on
their uglyness. As tools they may be okay but as cars they can only be
considered as aesthetic pollutants, hurting the eye and disheartening
our hopes for random visual pleasures (ie oldtimers, exotics). As for
their makers, it takes a deviant perspective of reality to the point of
psychopathology to authorize the steps in the creation of such
abominations!

I am not a car mechanic, but I have had probably more than 40 cars since
the first Ford Fairlane 500 1959 and that was in 1963. But never a
Japanese car, though I have to admit that in those countries where
compulsory annual vehicle inspections are done and they publish the
statistics; Toyota comes out as top in most countries as reliable and
with less fault, MB normally comes 5th or 6th, but I do stick to MB, I
think about half of the cars I had have been MB.
