[W126 Coupe] 1989 560 SEC Wheel Off Sets

Hi,

I have 16 inch rims on the 1989 560 SEC that I have owned for about 2 years 
and I truly think that the offsets are wrong. The tyres are so close to the 
springs and the tie rod ends on the front. I just think that the rims are wrong.
How do I find out the correct offsets for the front and rear so I can either 
measure mine or just get new rims in 16 or 17 inch.
