[W126 Coupe] Gear Selection Labels: Do they light up?

Hi Bellamy:

I'm so used to ripping these cars apart, I have to say the earlier
models while they represent a few more difficult repairs often had
features the later models did not. Case in point any MB that is a euro
has a leg up on the US versiions that the DOT and EPA screwed with. The
euro sedan I'm running for the winter has more power, more comfort, more
bells and whistles than any US version I've driven up through 91 and
this euro is an 86.

Take care,

Dick
