[W126 Coupe] Valve lifter ticking

I know worn cam lobes are a known issue on these cars.
I have it on my 85 500 SEC. One thing you might want
to check is oil level and what type of oil you are
using. When the car is cold (first start in the
morning) the oil could be taking a while to circulate
through the engine. What you could be hearing is dry
cams.
