[W126 Coupe] Valve lifter ticking

Hi
I bought a 560SEC 87 Euro some months ago with 107000km. Nice car which has 
not been driven during winter months and all services documented.
Because there was some ticking from the enginee I get the enginee inspected 
by a mechanic. To my surprise both camshaft was worn for some of the valves. 
Both camshaft and all valve lifters was replaced.
Still, when the engine is cold there is still ticking sound.
1.Is it normal that camshaft get worn out at 107000Km
2. Is it normal that there is thicking sound when motor is cold?
