[W126 Coupe] 91 sec sale question

I am considering preparing my black/maroon '91 for sale. It has 105k,  
18"AMG's,  H&R's  hi end sound system and a fair assortment of dings  
and scratches, this and that. I'm sure I won't get much as is, maybe  
7-9K,  but my question is would anyone recommend a trip to the body  
shop first ?  One of the more interesting stories was how the garage  
door came down on it while backing out and the resulting scratches  
along the rear roof line and trim.
