I'd be astounded were my machinist not in business by the time you
graduate..baring some catastrophe!
As for having cores, coming up w/ a good M117 block is not in the least bit
difficult..I know joe has @ least two beautiful short blocks @ his shop now
w/ no one's name on them. If I was going to have him build up an engine
from scratch I'd go w/ a Euro repair size 2 piston running either the AMG,
ECE or custom grind cam along w/ the tri y's.
And why a 500 block ? why not run a 560 short block w/ your 500 bits
strapped on?
