Habib:

You need to get under there and see where the leak originates.  If the 
transmission was working fine up until the leak then I would expect it's 
repairable without a lot of fuss.  Pan gaskets, valve body seals to 
modulator, shift linkage etc are all accessible with a bit of work and 
without having to remove the transmission.  If you can identify which 
side of the valve body is soaked that would help.  Take a look at the 
pinion seal at the rear where the flex disk attaches as well (unlikely 
cause of a massive leak). Take a rag and flashlight and have a look.
