[W126 Coupe] Transmission Spill

Is it kinda back a bit, around the middle of the car (past where the torque convertor is)? If it made a big leak while the car was stopped, I'm thinking it's something as simple as either the drainplug on the pan or the pan gasket.

Does anyone know which seal, in the '87 560 SEC transmission, has gone bad as the garage floor is covered in fluid one morning??
 
Also, what are used transmissions selling for?
