RE: the PS pump...Sounds like the correct 3 bolts. Be sure you loosen
the bolts engine block to bracket, not the pump to bracket at 6 and 11.
Then the NUT at 3-4 o'clock should be loosened at the front of the pump
just a bit, then follow this bolt to the back of the pump where you
should see the star adjuster wheel and back this off to free up the two
belts. Install and tension is done in reverse order.
RE: the ac compressor, once you slacken the bolts the idler pulley
should just fall away enough to set the new belt. Tighten the AC belt
by using an open end wrench placed to the right side of the bracket for
the idler pulley and pull up to tension belt while tightening the belt.
This assumes your 85 has the A-6 compressor assembly.
