[W126 Coupe] Long term Battery drain problem

I seem to remember somebody posting in the past about their seats
randomly moving on their own. IIRC the subject line was something like
my car is trying to kill me or something like that.

Hi Bellamy,

Yes, that maybe the case, but as the seats seem to work as they
should, I can't imagine what would be causing an intermitant current
draw without the seats moving to a different position. Is it possible
the memory for the seats could have something to do with this?
Although yourself and Richard could be onto something, I will look
further into the seat possibility. Not today though, as the car at the
moment is buried under a foot of snow. I will let you know of any
further findings.

Cheers,
Vance

Yes, Richard is right, the seat controllers are likely on fuse 2
also. East to determine, remove the fuse and see if the seats and seats
memory work. The power seats work without the ignition "on" as long as
the door is open.

#8 is the instrument cluster including the centre console...
they are connected through the headlight light switch, of course.
