Thanks Bruce!
I'll try the shims once I've checked out the bushings and diff. mount
per Dick's advice...
The rear appears to be level side to side, but I will measure to check.
Thank you gentlemen!
Sam

It's common!
I also lowered a stock '88 never-been-in-an-accident SEC, and wound up
using
four different shim sizes to get the ride height where I wanted it, and
dead
even front to back and side to side.

Hi Sam:
How is the stance at the rear of the car? Is one side riding
higher/lower than the other as you look at each rear fender well? Take
a tape measure and check this if it's not visibly apparent. Then if you
find the rear is exhibiting the 'gansta lean' as it's called by this
group who have lowered their coupes, then I'd suspect that replacement
of the rear sub frame bushings and the differential mount may improve or
eliminate the problem.
If you go this route let me know as I have the steps and photos on 'how
to' along with the components and sizes for making the tool that you
will need. BTW: first timer, total job is under 2 hours.
Regards,
Dick
