[W126 Coupe] Headlights Beam Height Adjustment Switch - not working(560 Euro)

Dawid:

Remove both rear tail light inside trunk covers on your SEC to access 
the bulb sockets.  One side of the car should have a socket for the 
SINGLE rear fog lamp installed as a factory fitting for your model.  
Remove the single bulb and test the socket for 12 volts with the dash 
headlamp orange indicator lighted to confirm the wiring is in fact 
good.  Test resistance on the bulb to determine if it needs 
replacement.  It would seem unlikely that you have a wiring problem.  
far more likely it's the bulb or socket that need s attention.
