Tim, if you cannot locate one the remaining Bergwerks kits there is 
another way. Procure a momentary contact pushbutton switch (same 
electrical characteristic as a doorbell switch). Wire it across the two 
wires going to the kickdown switch under the gas pedal (tap into each 
wire, it is called a parallel connection).

When you want the quick start, just touch the button after you have come 
to a full stop. During wet or otherwise slippery conditions, just ignore 
it and you will still have the second gear start.
