Hi Dan:

My memory is more than a little fuzzy on this air bag procedure.  
Perhaps you can jostle Chet with a note and see if he can post the notes 
again.  I now recall you need to unplug a red or orange air bag 
connector in the foot well and that I pulled the airbag forward after 
removing that center bolt.  AND I did all this because I was servicing 
the vacuum elements not the blower.  So, you may want to poke around 
under there with a flash light and see if there is some way to remove 
just the rear plastic foot well ceiling to access the blower without 
having to disturb the airbag and knee bolster.

ehh, let me NOT make a project out of something that may be so simple.
