[W126 Coupe] Seattle Defensive Driving and Autocross - August 6, 2006

        The Seattle Section is hosting Frank & Mary Alice Cozza from 
MBCA National level to put on a Defensive Driving and Autocross event on 
Sunday, the 6th of August, at the parking lot at Cheney Stadium, 2502 S 
Tyler St Tacoma, WA 98405-1051. Cheyenne St entrance. This would be a 
great time for  the Seattle listers to compare notes and hone your 
driving skills, and admire other 126 coupes.

  <>Frank & Mary Alice will present the necessary instructional class 
beginning at 8 am on the day of the event, and we will begin the 
Defensive Driving portion at 8:30 am.  The cost for this full day of fun 
will be $15 per car and $15 per person for a box lunch. August 3rd is my 
cut off to order lunches.           

   We want people to bring the CAR THEY DRIVE EVERY DAY (it does not 
have to be a Mercedes). Especially licensed Teenagers, we want them to 
bring the vehicle they drive not mom and dads car. It is important that 
people learn to feel confident in their every day driver.   The training 
is very basic, but full of hands on knowledge on what you can do and 
what you can do with your car.  If you have ever seen a multiple car 
pile up on the highway, defensive drivers can help avoid that pile up. 
Never look at what it is you don't want to hit.  Past participants have 
come to us and said, "I used it, it works.  It all came back to me when 
I needed it."
