Dick,
Well all this radio talk has prompted me to hook my aux input lead for my
sat radio.
But here is how mine is hooked up.
The mb harness with 2 Black Wires, 1 Brown, 1 Blue, 1 Green (the blue and
green are not going to be used.
The 2 Black MB Wires are tied together and connect to the Blue wire that
comes off the New radio. Then the same Blue wire (off new radio) is tied
into the Blue MB wire. This Blue MB wire is separate of the mb harness that
I mentioned above. It is however taped from the factory to another MB
harness that is not being used for my new radio. And the MB Brown wire
hooks to the chassis of the radio from the MB harness that I first stated.
I hooked my radio up using the factory fader and mb amps using a gadget I
think its called a PAC-1. No problems with sound or function.
Hopefully this may help you.
Jason
