Hi Jason:

I've got the correct wire from the head unit and the correct wire 
(red/blue) that feeds the antenna switch, problem is the current is 
inadequate to operate the antenna.  So, I am now pulling +12VDC off of 
the lighter circuit to common on the relay and then wiring the antenna 
switch red/blue lead to N.O. on the relay.  The radio then goes to the 
'trigger' on the relay and it seems to work just fine.  I found a good 
spot to plant the relay so it and the wiring harness look neat behind 
there.  It's more the curiosity of why a new receiver will not provide 
sufficient current to trigger the antenna.  I've had the head unit in 
for several years just never cared to hook-up the radio.  But, where I'm 
tinkering I figured I'd get this done along with the iPod interface.
