[W126 Coupe] Dead horn(s)

Thanks Dan.
On the back side of the steering wheel I can see the two rings, I couldn't
see on the steering column side where these get picked up.
I replaced my cruise stalk about a year ago with no issues so I have had the
wheel off in the past without problems.
Given that I changed the Indicator/wiper stalk I wonder if the wiring for
the horn goes through this?
Matt.

The steering wheel has TWO slip rings in series with the hot side of the
horn circuit (fused +12 VDC from Fuse #7 in the fuse box). The horn switch
must bridge both, so you are looking for TWO connections coming out. One
side is insulated Black/Violet and uses connector X63. The other is not
labeled in the shop manual, but MBZ habit would have it be the same color.
There must be a misprint in the manual, because later in the same section
connector X63 is described as a "serial data feed" for the CIS-E/EZL
(ignition module).
