The steering wheel has TWO slip rings in series with the hot side of the
horn circuit (fused +12 VDC from Fuse #7 in the fuse box). The horn
switch must bridge both, so you are looking for TWO connections coming
out. One side is insulated Black/Violet and uses connector X63. The
other is not labeled in the shop manual, but MBZ habit would have it be
the same color.
There must be a misprint in the manual, because later in the same
section connector X63 is described as a "serial data feed" for the
CIS-E/EZL (ignition module).
