Hola, Steve,

I read with great interest your post detailing the LS-6 implant into
Mike's SEC. Sounds like a very solid plan to me. As many of us old
farts grew up with tinkering on a mouse motor, we know that it was a
great engine when it was originally designed in the mid '50s, and it
has been constantly improved ever since. I'm looking forward to
hearing progress reports!

A question that popped into my head this morning: how does the GM
tranny interface with the gear selector? Can the stock MB shifter be
adapted so that from inside the cabin, it still looks totally stock,
or do you have to replace parts of the console to adapt a GM/
aftermarket shift?
