Hi Kevin,
I remember your restoration too. Would love to see some pics. Bellamy is
there on the island close to you and has some info for you about buying a
new tranny in Canada.
I have a Euro 500 and replaced the tranny with a BuyMBParts tranny (Rusty
Cullens or Jonathan Hodgman). It was said to have all the upgrades to make
it like a '91 tranny , which is a hundred and something odd upgrades.
It works great with the added 1st gear start. I will look through my good
junk for the part number. I had the original tranny rebuilt with a rebuild
kit that I bought from Rusty as well but haven't used it as the new one
works great.
