[W126 Coupe] changing my front brakes

What year and model is your car?
For the later 126's, if you're just changing the brake pads, then the
caliper assembly stays on the car, you don't have to mess with those bolts.
There are two pins that need to be pushed out and the pads come right off.
Push the pistons back into the caliper assembly, put the new pads (with
anti-squeal paste) into the slots, new sensors for the fronts, reinstall the
pins. Done.

i was starting to change my front brakes but i couldn't take the pad
assembly off! it was as though those 2 bolts where welded on. that is
correct...there are only two bolts, right? that seemed to be the only thing
holding the pad assembllly in place.
