[W126 Coupe] lighting option

I saw a really cool accessory on a 560SEC as I was driving to work the
other day.
 A black 560 coupe got behind me which was unusual in itself. There are not
many of these per square mile up here.
He had his parking lights on and there was a low amber glow coming from
inside each headlight housing. Almost as though there was a reflection from
the adjacent parking light but I can't imagine how that could be done.
  I'm almost sure it was a separate amber bulb inside the headlight
housing.

Has anybody else seen this?
