The anti-tow unit is one of the sensors that the alarm system monitors. 
You'll find it on the CD if you look at the alarm system schematic 
connections. As far as I can tell it is simply a tilt sensor. From previous 
postings it seems to be the single most unreliable component of the alarm 
system. I think it's located in the trunk near the antenna.
