I don't know what the "correct" method is per MB, but JB Weld Kwik 2-part
epoxy does a marvelous job of sticking the wood to other wood or aluminum.
Use it sparingly so it doesn't ooze out the sides and clamp it until it's
good and hard. It will easily stand the temperatures of the interior of a
car.

Subject: How to apply replacement wood to dash to stay permanently
I have a 1984 Mercedes 500 SEC with replacement wood (for the dash)
coming. What is the best way to attach it? Use "Contact Cement" on both
dash and wood....then carefully stick them together...or is there a
better way?
