[W126 Coupe] Rear diff?

Hmmm, I called Stu's shop, they don't have any lying around. He said to
change it out from a 2.47 to a 3.07 would require taking the gear set
from a 450SEL and then fitting them (he said there is quite a bit of
fitting work, i.e. it's something he would have to do) to the existing
case. $2200 parts and labor...so we're getting a lot lower in price
anyways. He did note that the availability of this would not be
problematic (unlike the AMG piece) I guess the diff is something that
I'll have to wait one more year to do.
