[W126 Coupe] Rear diff?

Personally, if I were in the market for an AMG one that's seen over a
decade of use for $5000, I rather spend $6500 and have a one-off made.
You don't have to get 30 to get an order in. You can get 10, it would
just cost more per unit. But yeah, people would pledge money and not pay
and things like that (didn't that happen with that sway bar group buy?).

As far as building your own, that doesn't seem to be any more feasible.
Every gear maker I've talked to says it would take 100 orders to get
custom gears made.

See?  That's why everyone is looking to build their own, or buy the AMG
units.  Afterall Renntech ONLY WANTS $4000 to fix my old 3.27 GT...

And good luck getting 30 units paid for....

David, talk to me, rishayegan at davidson.edu What do you know about this
diff? It would make it interesting if it weren't too expensive, but I
can't afford to put thousands towards a diff with everything else that
I'm doing.

BTW, Eddie, on the Quaife. They said a one off would cost $6500 (yes,
just one, and brand new, and only $1500 more than a used AMG) and a
batch of 30 would cost between $1200-2000, depending on the diff.
