[W126 Coupe] 1985 euro version 500sec

I have an 84 500SEC and I have the same problems that you have stated.  Emissions is my #1 concern, but my car has cats, an air pump, and it used to have a little control unit till I ripped it out thinking it had something to do with alarm. For the thing next to the light I have no idea how it works or what it does.
