1. You are going to have a tough time with emissions. Your car likely does
not have catalytic converters. You can lean out the mixture, tune the car
up, and get it nice and hot before it's tested, but even all that might not
get you to pass. What state are you in?
2. The three position dial next to the headlight switch controls the vacuum
aiming system for the headlights. Put the car near a wall at night with the
headlights on and move the dial...you'll see the headlight beam focal point
go up and down accordingly.
3. Usually you can use 3M spray adhesive, stretch, and trim if it's not too
bad or stretched from sagging. But a lot of good auto upholstery shops can
do a new headliner for $250 or so, making it fairly reasonable to replace.
4. You get to the speakers by popping off their covers from the top of the
rear parcel shelf. Then remove screws and wire connectors.
