I'm far from an expert, but to me it sounds like something very basic:
you need to rebalance your wheels.

Subject: [W126 Coupe] Hit nasty man hole on Left front
Hi All,
Can I get advise what to look for?
They were repaving a main through road in my neighborhood. At night in
the rain I couldn't see squat as the top coat of the road was stripped
and every man hole and gas cover was 4-6 inches above the surface.
I got cut off and I hit one doing about 35 in my 89 560 SEC.
Now I have a problem that a shop I brought it to couldn't see anything.
When I am on a straight road the car rides true. When I am on the
highway, doing 60+ and the road banks to the right the left front
rumbles and feels like the wheel is going to come off.
If it banks to the left there is no problem. When I go over 70 with a
straight wheel I get a rumble too.
Should I bring it to Me/Be? The county is covering it in a suit as many
people are suing them for damage on their cars.
Thanks
Jack
