Heh, I almost thought this was spam until I saw you were copying
something you were sent. Um...Jonathan, you want to tell them or should
I tell them what hp that kind of money would get from your guy?
(Speaking of which Jonathan, either e-mail me at rishayegan at davidson.edu
or leave me a voicemail on my cell (301 873 2823) with the answer to
this question: would more money get me more hp, or is that the tops you
can get out of a 560? I'd call you, but I'm so busy this week I'm just
going to be checking my voicemails, and not making any calls out).

Not much is available "bolt on" except maybe a K&N Air Filter... BUT... 
Extra H/P is available via oversize pistons of Euro version (which is
higher compression) and porting of the heads - so you'll need to rebuild
the engine to get the added performance. 
The basic price for the stock remanufactured engine (aka: "longblock")
for your 560SEC is U.S. $6,800.00 wholesale,-- retail is U.S. $7,650.00
- supplied per our website www.mercedesengines.net

listed. 
For the high compression Euro pistons add $600.00 this ups the H/P 15%
to 272hp 
Basic porting of the cylinder heads is another $800.00 /// or you can
have the heads and manifolds "extrude honed" TM for $1,600.00 = this
adds approx. another 10% improved performance // and you could have the
headers extrude honed for $700.00
