[W126 Coupe] Throttle body switch

[Hovsep Dovlatian]

Ok so on monday I disassembled the intake manifold and on it right next to the throttle body was this vacuum switch. Now I need to know what is this? What does it do? and how do I reconnect the vacuum hoses? For the record I did not disconnect the vacuum hoses they had dried up and broken off.
