[W126 Coupe] Throttle body wiring question

Ian

The central pin is a ground pin - the throttle switch basically works as
follows : provides a ground signal at full throttle to indicate this and
likewise for zero throttle.

So it is likely that the central pin missing on the 500 wiring needs to be a
ground signal.

Any reason why you haven't transferred the CIS-KE injections system and
ignition system over ?

You won't get the power output that you should without the correct CIS and
ignition modules in place.

The CIS/ignition loom is quite involved but it is a fairly straightforward
plug and play device (with several plugs of course !). Removing the wiring
is the difficult parts, especialy in the region where the wiring runs behind
the heater hoses under the wiper motor area.

I'd really reccomend transferring the wiring/modules across if it's
increased power you are looking for.
