[W126 Coupe] Throttle body wiring question

I've almost completed the installation of an '87 Euro 560 engine into my '83
500 SEC. In doing this, I have used the 500 wiring - and consequently the
500 fuel system on top of the engine. One thing I missed was the difference
between the two engines with the wiring of the switch on the throttle - it
appears to be a position sensing device. The 500 has two wires and the 560
has three wires.

Does anyone know whether I can use just two of the three - and if so, which
two - or do I need to swap the throttle valve (a major task at this stage)?

Regards

Ian
