[W126 Coupe] Re: (W126) Odd Trans Problem

It's been a while but I believe my 6" 1/2" extension with the right socket
fit in there perfectly that the wrench didn't hit anything. Took a little
wiggling, but it worked. I may have just used a deep-well and no extension,
but I didn't remove the radiator.

Later,

Everybody recommends this way, but how in the world do you do it? I have
heard to turn the engine at the crank, but there is no way to do that
with the radiator still in the car that I have found. What I did was
just turn it as much as I could at the power steering pump, but that
only gets you so far because the compression builds up, so then I would
tap the starter to release that and try again...took a little while so I
sure would like an easier way to do it.
Thanks,
Richard
