[W126 Coupe] Seat switch conversion question

Hi Richard:

I realize it will not be plug 'n play, question is, can it be made to work in which case I'll do both sides of the SEC with the updated memory switch.

Maybe I should rephrase my original question to where would I locate the wiring harness (loom) color codes and functions for both model years to see if I can make an in-line solder connection to the old harness and preserve the plug-in harness on the memory seat switches.
